Some way to create roof tiles that are excluded from per-tile lighting. Daylight pours into rooms that should logically have roofs. Probably any tile with foundation should be lit as if it has a roof (so light might spill in from a window, but not from above).
Seems like something upstream might implement (or have implemented already) -- did they already tackle this upstream? (Definitely easier after merge as they have a related but not exactly the same system as this described)
